2022

First in-game footage

We are buidlers, and didn't want to raise money with a Power Point. We put together a small core team and in less than three months we developed our first in-game footage, and used it to showcase our execution capabilities and raise funds.

First playable single-player mission

First content playable by end users. It was a Hold the Base type of level, where players had to reconquer and defend it against hordes of aliens.

First multiplayer Co-Op Mission + First mobile phone port

1. First multiplayer co-op mission: 4 players cooperate to reconquer a mining site, defend it while they mine resources and protect their transport as it takes its cargo to an extraction point. 2. Also we made our first version for mobile phones.

We developed our own onchain Web Shop and our Cross-Chain payment system. We accept payments in fiat and 6 different cryptocurrencies. We also launched our first Genesis Sale.

Testnet Launch on our Subnet + Tutorial

GDC Presentation + Dungeons (Randomly generated co-op missions)

Pulsar presented at the GDC, receiving critical acclaim.

Players can create randomly generated maps with missions and play together to have fun and progress in the game.

NOTE: The video linked below is from a later development stage, but it shows the dungeons as they were released. This is the first version of our Map Builder, a keystone of our Content Generation Strategy.

NEW UNIT: The Red Baron (Hero Unit)

Our first hero, the Red Baron, is here! Heroes are special powerful units with unique active and passive skills! The Red Baron will guide players through the tutorial and will be available on the shop after tutorial is complete.

NEW UNIT: Sniper

Snipers have the biggest attack range in the game. They are mobile too, but their attack rate is very slow. They require micromanagement, but are extremely powerful.

NEW GAME MODE: Hold the Base

In Hold the Base games, players must defend their base against waves of aliens.

They can use Stratagems (active skills granted by the obelisk).

NEW GAME MODE: Land Bosses

There is a walled area on every land where specially strong bosses appear periodically.

These are big battles that will require most of the players on the land working together to win.

Portals are structures similar to Stargates that allow players to move to other lands. Initially they will access special missions, but further down the road, they will be able to use them to raid other players' lands.

In Pulsar you join lands and play on them. Lands are NFTs.

Landowners can tax players playing on them.

Currently we have made a number of lands public, so people can play on them.

This is the moment in which players will be able to play and manage their own lands.

Power Ups are consumable NFTs that players earn by playing and can also purchase.

They provide buffs that improve performance and enhance user experience.
