Overview
Resources are materials that can be used to construct and upgrade units and structures. Some appear in Deposits all over the planet, both on the surface and underground, and others are looted from enemies.
List of Resources
Pulsar: Pure energy in crystallized form.
Mineral: Solid inorganic resource used primarily to construct and upgrade units and structures.
Gas: Fluid inorganic resource used primarily to construct and upgrade units and structures.
Biomatter: Alien organic matter used primarily to craft and improve technologies.
Alien Stem Stone: Culled from the Alien remnants, this enigmatic solid substance contains a wealth of biological information and serves as a powerful energy source for advanced technological applications.
Pulsar is found in deposits on the land. They can be extracted in its raw form by Pulsar Miners and taken to Pulsar Refineries, where it is refined into $PLSR. Due to the particular geophysics of the planet, Raw Pulsar continuously accumulate and disperse over time on deposits across some specific Lands.
Mineral and Gas are found in deposits on the land. They can be extracted in its raw form by Resource Miners and taken to Mineral and Gas Refineries, where they are refined into Refined Mineral and Gas. Due to the particular geophysics of the planet, Mineral and Gas continuously accumulate and disperse over time on deposits all over the planet.
Biomatter is found in short-lived deposits around recent alien activity. They can be extracted by Resource Miners, who take them to Biomatter Refineries, where they will be refined into Refined Biomatter.
Stem Stone is automatically harvested from the corpses of some aliens when they die.
Extraction
Resources are extracted from Resource Nodes by Miners. There are two type of Miners:
Resource Miners: Can extract all resources, except Raw Pulsar.
Pulsar Miners
Resource Tiers
Units and Structures have a level cap, determined by its Tier.
As Units and Structures level up, they require resources of their tier to be constructed and leveled up.
For instance, a level 48 unit (Tier 2) will require Tier 2 resources to be upgraded to level 49.
Distribution of Resource Tiers on Lands
By utilizing a Drilling Rig, Lands can be delved into, unveiling uncharted depths that grant access to bountiful deposits, higher Resource Tiers, and, inevitably, an amplification of perils.
Lower Tier Resources are closer to the surface. To find Higher Tier Resources, players need to drill the earth and venture underground. The deeper they go, the higher the tier of the materials. And since aliens live underground, the deeper players go, the more dangerous it will get for them
Opening new depths will require spending significant amounts of resources.
All Resource Tiers are found in all Lands. Nonetheless, rarer lands have more deposits available at any given time and hold Higher Resource Tiers at a shallower depth.
